Bookkeeper & Accounting Clerk

The Area Agency on Aging of Southwest Arkansas is currently accepting applications for two accounting positions: Bookkeeper and Accounting Clerk (Entry-Level). Position 1: Bookkeeper

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma required
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organization and professionalism
  • Effective communication skills

Position 2: Accounting Clerk (Entry-Level)

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong skills in data management and account reconciliation
  • Financial reporting and compliance knowledge
  • Ability to assist with audits and conduct basic financial analysis
  • Identify discrepancies and support financial forecasting
  • High attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Strong multitasking and communication skills
